Installing Office 2000 SP-3 for MultiLanguage Pack
(English version)under Windows 2000 SP-3 or SP-4 leads to
the MS Office Hotfix Installer error:
"The expected version of the product was not found on your
system"

Hi JSPS,

Do you have the MS Office MultiLanguage Edition
installed on your PC with the SR1 update to that
edition or a 'regular' retail product edition
of Microsoft Office 2000?

Hallo Bob,
first many thanks for answering our problem. The installed
MultiLanguage Edition is a original MultiLanguage version
of Office 2000, therefor a 'regular' retail product
edition of MS Office 2000 Professional that was
continuously updated to SR1a and SP-2. We hope that this
is the answer to your question.
