I've been using Office2003 for several months on my old
computer with no problems. I just bought a new computer,
running WinXP-Home Edition. I downloaded and installed
all the WindowsXP Updates, including Service Pack 1.
When I try to install Office, I get an error message
that "A required installation file L951403.CAB could not
be found; however,it's in the root directory of the
install disk.
The fix from Microsoft is to install Service Pack-1, which
I'v already done.
I tried loading all the CAB files onto my hard drive, but
get an error message for L951403.CAB - 'Cyclic Redundancy
Check"
Anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks.
