Office2k Pro won't setup from cd

The complete 2 disc had been setup and running. I
reinstalled Windows 2k Pro to get rid of SP5. Upon
reinstalling all the apps. I get a prompt saying "...
can't run setup.exe, see your vendor". Wazzup?
Thanks for any advice, I and my wife are lost at this
point, not able to open any of our docs
