Office2k SP3 data.msi problem

Trying to install the Office 2k SP3 update on a computer.
The install media is on a network share, where it has been
successfully used numerous times.
This computer, however, does not think that the data1.msi
file located there is valid.
As I said, I have used that install media for installs and
updates numerous times, so I know its valid. Obviously
this specific computer is having issues.
I've tried using the actual CD, and it gives the same
message.
Anyone have an idea of how I can convince this computer
that the data1.msi is valid, aside from doing a complete
office reinstall?

Try running the Setup.exe from that network share and choose the 'reinstall'
option. That should fix it.
