office2K SP3 wont install

running winXP pro, office200..when i try to install
office2k sp3, get message "installation unsuccessful."
no other information is given.
Have tried from both the office update site and
downloading the sp3.exe. both do not work.
any suggestions?

I have the same problem. It occurs depending on how I
install Office 2K. When I use a regular lic copy, SP3
downloads and installs fine, but using an open lic is when
it won't install. Have been trying to find out if has to
do with the type of lic. How did you install your Office
2K?
