Office97 designed for NT or 95 ok to use with 98?

I had an old version of Office97 installed on old Aptiva. System crash
resulted in loss of all files, including program files on hard drive.
Used recovery diskette, installing Win98, but unable to get past setup to
reinstall this Office97PE app.

I've been running Office 97 on Windows 98 Second Edition for years...
works great. What problems are you having running setup?
