OfficeOnline Discussion Groups

I've been using the Office Discussion Groups
(http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx) for years and
love the help I get from all the users. However, my machine was recently
'upgraded' to XP. Now, when I click on a post the frame that use to display
the post remains blank. I can double click the post and it will open the
entire discussion in a new window, but I can browse like I use to. I do get
an IE error (Done, but with errors on page.), but it is unspecified and I'm
not sure how to correct it. I use Firefox at home with XP and have no
trouble.

The error box states:
Line: 316
Char: 3
Error: Unspecified error.
Code: 0
URL:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...icrosoft.public.outlook.general&lang=en&cr=US

The part after '?' changes depending on the group I go to, but the Line/Char
info is always the same.

Any suggestions? Anyone with a similar problem?

a suggestion would
be to explore the Microsoft
newsgroups with outlook express.

for example you can subscribe to

Microsoft.public.office.misc

to see your posting, create new ones or
respond to them.

I'm aware of OE. In fact that's how I am posting this message. Along with the lack of message viewing I can no longer create new or reply to messages in the online format. I like the functionality (or at least I use to) of the online format over OE.

Thanks for the reply, hope I hear a solution though.

Mike,

Were you able to resolve? I have exact same problem. Some days it works
fine. Others, it has errors...
