Hi,

I was prompted to download a SP from Microsoft for Office
2000. The dowload whent fine.

In trying to install it, it asked for the Office CD which
I inserted into the CD drive.

I got a message that says that it is not the right CD. I
have never had any other CD.

MS OUtlook is performing absolutely horrible since and I
am not able to eject the CD (first time this ever
happened) to get the Serial number.

Please help!

Hi, Bill,

If you computer came with software pre-installed, it could be that Office is
confused and is looking for something that was installed previously.

What CD is it asking for? What CD do you have? Did your system come
pre-installed with Works, or Office originally?
