OfficeXP and Italian Thesaurus

S

sa

I have WinXP and OfficeXP installed (English Version, both)
Recently I need to write emails and letters in Italian Language,
language I am familiar with.
I was looking to install Italian Thesaurus and grammar/syntax speller,
but I alwasy get a message like: "file itxxx.dll is missing"

What shall I do?

1. buy WordXP in Italian Language, just for the thesaurus? and install
over OfficeXP-English? No conflicts?
2. Contact Microsoft Italy and ask them for a solution?
3. download (where?) these missing files and install them (in which
directory?)

I have installed Italian language in the "regional settings" and I
have got a blue "IT/EN" icon close to taskbar, but this only allows
the keyboard to display special Italian characters, nothing to do with
thesaurus...

Please help

Hi Saulo,

The Office 2002 proofing tools will add Italian
language support among others.
