I recently purchased the Office XP Pro Upgrade Version
having had 2000 previously. I just reformatted my hard
drives and converted to NTFS because of an infection and
am in the process of reinstalling programs. When I
install Office will it be possible for me to install XP
Pro and simply put the office 2000 CD in as proof of
having it, or will I need to reinstall Office 2000 just
to install the Office XP Pro upgrade? I'm trying to
reduce any chances of future conflicts and/or software
problems because I don't want to have to go through
dealing with these sorts of things again. Thanks.
