OfficeXP2002/WindowsXPHome Edition/Can't re-install Office on my c

My OfficeXP CD works on every other computer except the computer Im using now.
I installed Office on my computer, then had an error message telling me to
un-install, then re-install to fix the problem.
When I tried to re-install, the CDROM drive indicates that there are no
files on the CD that's in the drive. (OfficeXP2002)
So I tried installing it on my old computer, and it installed without a
problem.
My computer's hard drive reads all other CD's just not my OfficeXP.
I bought my office product and have a valid Product key.
Can somebody Please help?
