Using a SharePoint site, I published a section. In the horizontal row of
tabs, this section has a link arrow. When I click on the link arrow I am
required to logon to the SharePoint site. The section is then downloaded and
available. This works great as I move from one computer to another during
the day.
Now the new challenge. Sometimes I do not have network access, and would
like to use offline files to cache a local copy. Under properties of the
shortcut for this link I selected offline files and went through the wizard
to setup the offline properties. I did the synchronize and then expected to
see the files, using view files, but no files. When I try to open the
section when offline, I get a message that the network is unavailable and no
file.
Any assistance in getting this to work would be appreciated....
TIA
