I've never worked with InfoPath before and I need to know if the
scenario I'm proposing in a design spec will work. The basic
requirement is to produce an InfoPath form where one of the fields is a
dropdown containing all of the events for the last year (from a SQL
database). This InfoPath form will potentially be filled out while
offline. So ... here's my setting:
1) The program that e-mails the InfoPath form to the user has access to
the SQL database that has the event information.
2) This same program retrieves the events and creates a secondary data
source (XML) for the form.
Can Step 2 be done through the InfoPath object model?
Thanks in advance!
