offset/match

I am trying to create an offset/match formula that pulls
data from a separate worksheet, but it is not working. is
there any restrictions on this?? thx,

Anon,

No, shouldn't be. You should be able to use offset and match across sheets
or workbooks.

Maybe post your formula and we can give you some help.

Your question is too broad - please include more detail about what
you're trying and how it's "not working" (does that mean it gives an
error? the wrong value? no value at all?).

OFFSET with first argument an external link reference would only work when the
linked file is open.
