Ofice 97 with Windows XP Pro

Will Office 97 Standard Edition work with Windows XP Pro--
would like to install this program in a new computer--I
have an OFFICE 97 CD standard edition that I installed
on my old Windows 95 computer--

Office 97 will run just fine on Windows XP.

Occasionally, after installing Office 97 on Windows XP or Windows 2000, a
user
will receive the following message: "Microsoft Access can't start because
there is no license for it on this machine." This problem is due, of all
things, to a font. The fix for that problem, should it occur, is found at:
