I have just bought Office Home and Student, with licences for 3 users.
How can I actually tell how many licenses have been used and how many are left

Surely you know how many times you have installed it?

Since the license permits the concurrent installation on three computers
in the same household, and has nothing to do with the number of users, I
don't you are having the problem you imagine.

Hi
The reason I asked the question is that although the item was new and
sealed, the COA looks as if it may have been tampered with.
I am fairly certain that it is not a problem, but I thoght I may be able to
check whether any of the licences had been registered already.

Nope, registration is not Activation, registration is an optional
feature for marketing purposes and has nothing to do with the
installation and activation requirement. As for activation, that is all
anonymous, and you won't find out until the 3 limit trigger is hit in
the database.

Thanks for your help.

I have installed it on two computers so far, and may never get round to
installing it on a third, so may never find out.
Thanks again

Hi, I installed the home and student on several computers. One computer died
so I purchased a new one. When I installed the home and student I w as
informed that I had exceeded the activation limit. How do I reset the limit
so I can install it on the new computer? Thanks.
