Ofiice XP problem

Hello All,

I have installed Office XP professional on my system. I
Have installed only Word, Excel & Outlook as i dont need
other components. Last week i had a problem with Excel,
any excel doc i opened , opened up very slowly ,, no
problem as such with the PC. I uninstalled the earlier
installation and reinstalled office again. Now ever since
then, whenever i open a Word or Excel doc, the installer
runs each time and it is irritating a lot. Is there any
way the installer can be stopped from running each time,
I am aware that after installation the installer executes
for the very first time but not thereafter. But for me it
is running everytime i open any document/worksheet.

Any suggestions.
