Many users here often mention that word will ask to recover the
docuemnt when opening it. However, the system did not crash prior to
closing the document. Word does repair the docuement but it does not
show the changes made. I did locate this MS Technet article Q286821
that decribes how word does not know how to display its results but
offers no repair options or how to resolve this issue. As far as we
know the docuemtns are 100% intact. All files are stored in a central
server and the startup options from word are pointing to a location
stored on the server for the *.dot and macros. How do I find why this
is going on and how to fix it?
