Ohm symbol?

I'm trying to finish several circuit diagrams. Is there
something I'm missing, I want to but a text box next to
resistors with the ohm symbol and their value, but there
isn't a way that I have found out how to do it, I simply
can't find the symbol.

While in Text mode, try "Symbol" from the "Insert" menu.

i'd like to find this too. could you be a bit more explicit?
how do you get into 'text mode' in Visio? my Visio Insert menu
doesn't show a 'symbol' option. where do you see this?

Visio 2002 Insert, Picture, equation. There an Ohm symbol there. Will that
do?

While in Text mode, try "Symbol" from the "Insert" menu.

I use that all the time (in Word as well as Visio) - however, with Windows
XP (Prof - dunno about Home), symbol characters are not rendered in graphic
files such as GIF, JPG etc.

This is a PITA that I'm not sure the MS have acknowledged. To "Save As"
GIF or JPG graphics, I use the adjacent W98SE PC.

Another "undocumented feature"?
