Outlook 2003 crashes when in mail folder, right click on a message and
click print.
The printer prints a column of
......................(None)
......................(None)
......................(None)
....35 times
AND the message's icon changes to the "Post" icon.
When I click on another mail item (or the same one a second time),
Outlook crashes and vanishes (closes). Sometimes I will get an error
report other times I will not. The report reads: Probelm Even Name ...
APPCRASH, then lists OUTLOOK.EXE version 11.0.8172.0
Fault Module Name MSO.dll
version 11.0.8172.0
BUT..... this only happens on a first run of Outlook (after a reboot,
for example).
AND if I right click/print a mail item (printing all those dots and
(none)s) ...
AND THEN I change folders to contacts, for example, print a contact,
return to the inbox and do a second right click/print, everything
works fine! In fact, the problem does not arise again until a reboot.
I am running Office Professional on Vista Home Premium with all
updates and patches installed.
Recently I created custom contact forms (but didn't mess with message
forms), published the custom form and used docmessageclass.exe to
reset the contacts. But I have done this previously without problem.
I have also added several com add-ins. But the problem still happens
when I disable the com add-ins. I have done a "detect and repair" in
Outlook and have done the scan pst on the data file ... with no
changes.
Suggestions?
