OL 2003 /2007 Prevent meeting request updates from being sent

This might be a little unusual

I have appointments in OL that are syncronized from another application. The
appt's come in with attendee's but an initial meeting request is not
generated. The attendees are only there to help with the syncing between
applications.

If the meeting date/time is changed in OL, the only way to save it is to
also send meeting request to the attendees. This should not happen as the
attendees should never see the notes. I cant remove the attendees because it
will mess up the sync with the other app.

Ultimately, I need to be able to change the date/time and save an appt
without sending a meeting request. Any way to accomlish this? Reg
hack...anything?

Thank you

Have you tried code? That might be a solution although I am not an expert
with code.

See http://www.outlookcode.com to see if a sample exists or if someone else
has the same issue.
