I have outlook 2003 professional. I am trying to publish my calendar via ftp
and cannot. I have full access to my directories on the server (it's not an
intranet web server, it's a Linux box by my hosting company). I can access
the directories via ftp with IE6/7 and WS_FTP with no issues. I can read,
write and execute. When I type in the file location in which I want the
calendar to publish, I'm typing in ftp://[email protected]/dir/index.htm
I am not being prompted for a password, which I would expect. The software
is trying to make the connection, then seems to timeout with an error
"operation failed", nothing more. I have placed my system in a DMZ to see if
that could be the cause and still the same error. Are there any tricks or
steps I need to perform to allow this option to become functional? Thanks..
