I use OL 2003 on two different systems, a desktop and a laptop. When
I need to work outside my home office, I copy the PST file over to the
laptop (same directory location). This approach has worked well for
probably 6-7 years now. I'm not sure that this fact is related to the
problem I'm having but I thought it was worth mentioning. Both systems
are running Windows XP SP 2.
However (and that's why I'm writing this post), suddenly most of the
mail folders have a filter applied. It's always the same one. The
filter shows only unread messages. I have actually used that filter
on a few folders to isolate but unread message, but I've used it very
infrequently.
So how come this filter appears in almost all my folders, including
ones I've just created?
