OL 2003 to OL 2002

A coworker has been using a computer with Outlook 2003 and Exchange. He just
switched to another computer with Outlook 2002. When he connects to his
Exchange account none of the old Outlook data appears.

Is an Outlook 2003 file store incompatible with Outlook 2002?

Was he using the Exchange mailbox as his delivery location or a local PST?
My guess is the latter, which would have sucked everything out of the
mailbox. If it is the case and he has access to that PST, he will have to
use an instance of Outlook 2003 to convert the PST to an ANSI-format PST
that is Outlook 2002-compatible.
