OL 2007 freezes while composing message

I am having the problem of OL 2007 freezing when composing emails, and then I
have to wait up to 30 seconds to continue.
I do have a lot of 3rd party add-ins loaded. Plaxo, LinkedIn, & remove
dulicates.
Is there a way to make Outlook perform more smoothly?

Disable the add-ins and see if it changes. If so, then reenable one at a
time until you find the one causing the problem and then complain to the
vendor of the add-in.
