I have a rule that directs specific incomings to a subfolder of my
Inbox until I have a chance to review them and move them elsewhere.
Given I have a fair few subfolders, I prefer them to be unexpanded,
that is, I only want to see my inbox with the plus sign, I don't need
to see the subs, mainly because I also have sounds attached to the
rules, and pretty much know what these messages are.
However, I've noticed that when they come in, the inbox gets expanded
automatically in some way, and I don't really see why. Is this
"normal" behavior now? If not, is there a way to stop it from
happening? Outlook 2003 didn't do that.
TIA
