Using Outlook 2007 with Windows XP Pro, I created the following rule:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
display a Desktop Alert
except if from XYZ Marketing
or except with 'XYZ' or 'Marketing' in the recipient's address
or except if the subject contains 'Delivered: ' or 'Read: ' or
'Delivered:' or Read:'
or except if it's an Out Of Office message.
The rule was designed to block some inter-office traffic that I never
read and all delivery and read receipts.
We've changed from XP to Vista. My pst file and my rule made it over
okay. But now I get the Desktop Alerts for read and delivery
receipts, in spite of the rule settings.
Can I fix this?
