I routinely travel and connect back to my business desktop (XP SP2) from my
laptop via Remote Desktop.
I've upgraded my business desktop's Office 2003 SP3 to Office 2007 SP1 (and
all other XP and office patches), and, have found that OL 2007 is appallingly
slow, to the point of almost being useless at times.
However, it's REALLY slow when connecting to it from my laptop via Remote
Desktop, with long (10-15 second pauses at times.
I'm not doing any graphics, and, have a robust and fast VPN and Internet
connection, and...it's not like this when I go to another desktop that still
uses Office 2003.
What can I do to speed things up, besides downgrading (I've seen the
numerous messages on the forums, so, realize there is a problem, in general,
with Office 2007 and slowness, but, I'm talking RDP).
