OL 2007 Using 100% of system resources

OL 2007 suddenly is sucking up from 50% - 90% of my system resources and, of
course, making it impossible to do anything. MS Office Diagnostics have not
found any problems. I'd characterize my situation as desperate, since this
is my main production computer and I have a s**tload of work to complete
today! Help!

I am finding Outlook 2007 (and other parts of Office 07) slow in
reacting.

Until I hear a fix or solution, I am clearing my browser's cache
frequently. (Firefox balloons in Memory... when I use more Tabs, and it
keeps Cache and History. So I use their menu tool to free up some Ram).

Am hoping MS will identify ways to improve performance soon.

I'm getting this same problem.... upgraded to 2007 a few weeks ago and all
hell broke loose..... system resources are frequently maxxed out (512MB RAM)
and response time is ALWAYS slow. I've cleared cache as well... if that
helps, it doesn't last very long. I'm also running Business Contact Manager
on SQL 2005 Express -- which seems to be the prime resource hog.

I solved it: deleted the &^$#@ BCM and the SQL server that sneaked in the
door with it. As far as I could tell, the only benefits it provided, if you
could call it that, were some poorly designed forms missing critical fields
and functions on the default (notes and an E-mail icon, for example) and the
ability to keep contacts synched with my laptop, which I can do just as well
with an occasional pst copy from my main desktop system. As we said when I
was a kid: good riddance to bad trash.
