OL 2007 w/BCM Transfer to New PC

In the past (OL 2003 w/o BCM) I would just copy over the .pst file and
manually edit the layout to match my old configuration.

I have the old and new PCs connected via my home network. It looks like my
best bet is to use the Business Data Import and Export wizard to save the BCM
data. Then I can use my old "copy the .pst" method to get the balance of the
OL information (Task, Contacts, Calendar, etc.) across; after which I'll use
the aforementioned wizard to import the BCM data.

Is there a better process available? It would be nice to have a way that
didn't require so much manual tweaking and fussing.

Thanks,
Gordon Staley

With both BCM 2003 and 2007 you can backup (on machine 1) and restore
the BCM database (on machine 2).

Thanks for the note. I was aware of the feature, but not sure just how it
worked. I just completed the backup and restore. Everything seems to be
there.

No. Be sure and take a snapshot of your CATEGORIES. I have lost it before.
Also, as a safe measure, safe any OST files. I presume you know abou the
SQL databases living in the MICROSOFTSMLBIZ instance.
