OL 97 cannot disconnect from unwanted Personal Folder

ernie

I opened this other .pst (not the mail delivery location) while getting set
up but when I right click on it and click "Disconnect" the Office Assistant
says "Operation failed. An object could not be found". I want to get this
set of folders off my folders list so that I can delete the associated .pst.
Could you point me in the direction of a solution?
Thanks,
ern.

The only way to cure Outlook when it gets into that state is to create a new mail profile that uses the .pst file you want to use. If that seems like too much trouble, then just ignore the "ghost" folders.

Thank you Sue,
a new profile has fixed it.
