OL2000 Can't create multiple user accounts

Rich

I am running Win 98 and Office 2000. I am trying to set
up 2 completely separate accounts for outlook. I have set
up 2 separate profiles using Users in Control Panel and
under Passwords set them so Users can customize their
preferences. I'm using Internet Only setup for Outlook.
Still, when I log in on the second profile, it brings up
the other profiles Outlook account. How can I force it to
create a completely new account? All it does now is
remember which ISP account to send and recieve from.

I am not sure why in seperate Windows profiles it is bringing up the same
Outlook information, it has been a while since I worked with Win98. I can
however give you a workaround for this issue, and that would be to switch
Outlook to Corporate/Workgroup mode from Internet Mail Only and then you
will be able to setup two profiles in Outlook and setup different e-mail
accounts in each. Here is a link to an article that explains how to switch
modes, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;195507.
Here is a link to an article that explains how to create profiles in
Corporate/Workgroup mode,

I hope this information is helpful.
