OL2000 Font View changes on new email & reply

Using word as my email editor & HTML with my fonts correctly set thru word on
the email options tab "times new roman, regular and 12 pitch" for new &
reply. Opening up Outlook everything looks correct on the emails I view until
I open up a new email or reply to one. Then the fonts condense down to a
miniture size that I can't even see when I type something.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks CMF
