OL2000 - not emptying Deleted Items folder

I am using Outlook 2000 on XP. I have gone in to Tools/Options and selected
the Automatically empty Deleted Items folder upon exiting, but this is not
happening. I am having this problem on both my desktop and my laptop. I
have recently installed OsaSync Pro, which I suspect is causing the issue,
but wanted to see if there were any other thoughts out there.

It could very well be the OsaSync product and you should be able to verify
that by disabling that product temporarily and trying again.
