Hi
I have installed Office XP standard, on a Win2000 OS(SP3).
No Prior outlook software existed. On selecting outlook,
getting message:
Cannot start MS Outlook, MAPI32.dll is missing or the
wrong version. This could have been caused by installing
other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook.
Re-installing does not change the issue. Have checked KB
and search engines. Suggestions have been to do with
Netscape (not loaded), using fixmapi.exe (did not work),
and other software (which is also not loaded), Renaming
mapi32.dll and mapistub.dll and reloading, still to no
avial. Could there still be a clash of messaging software.
