I used to work with OL2002 with an Exchange Server (5.5.) account,
configured for offline use (.ost file). OL was set to synchronize all
folders upon exit (if online), and that worked well.
Now I installed OL2003, keeping the previous settings.
When I exit OL, I see the synchronization windows as usual, but then,
running Outlook offline, I see the .ost file has not been updated.
Then, I tried to check the new "Cache mode" option, and now it works again.
But, reading the help on line, I understood that cache mode is something
which does not fit exactly my needs (in other words, I want to decide when
to synchronize or not).
So, is there a way to make the .ost work like before, without the cache
mode?
