OL2003 - Reminders Further Out Than 18 Hours Get Reset

We're experiencing a problem with machines running Outlook 2003... If
you try and calendar a group event (one with multiple recipients) with a
reminder longer than 18 hours, the calendar item is sent to all the
recipients with the reminder being 18 hours.

Each individual recipient can set the reminder further out than 18
hours, but that's not the solution we're looking for :)

We didn't experience this with Outlook XP, so it's gotta be something
with the new version... I couldn't find anything in the KB - suggestions?
