OL2003 - "unable to activate send-on-behalf list"

OL2003 SP2 (11.8010.6568) on XP SP2+ Exchange 2003,

Trying to remove a delegate via Tools>Options>Delegates, select then Remove
+ Apply. Get the message "The Delegates settings were not savbed correctly.
Unavle to activate send-on-behalf of list. You do not have sufficient
permissions to perform this opertation on this object".

Contact your admin to check security settings on your Active Directory
object.

All seems OK. I was able to delete one Delegate, but can't recall anything
different about its attributes.

Roady [MVP]

Have your admin check who is set as a delegate in Active Directory Users and
Computers on your object. See if this matches with the list in Outlook.

I removed all of the Delegates there & that enabled me to remove all from my
profile. When I tried to put one back in the profile I got the error again
until I added that user back in to the object.

Still sounds like there has been tampered with the rights and permissions on
the AD object to me. Do other users experience this as well? If not try it
on a different computer and with a clean (mail) profile.
