In 2002, I created a custom view for my calendar folder I called "With Task
Pad" that includes the task pad, and a separate view called "No Task Pad" in
which the task pad is not visible. When I switched from one view to the
other, the task pad appeared or disappeared as you would expect from the
names of the views. So whether the task pad is visible or not was saved
with the view.
(It was important to me because I use a laptop with a 12" monitor, and if
the task pad is visible, the monthly calendar view is too small to read).
However, in 2003, it seems that the visibility of the task pad is not
connected to the view. So when I change from "Task Pad" to "No Task Pad",
the task pad remains in view.
Is this a bug? Is it a new "feature"? Is there some way to make 2003
behave as 2002 did, with respect to views?
Thanks?
