How do I configure Outlook so that it automatically recognizes and activates
an Outlook hyperlink in the form <outlook:folder name /~item name>?
In my OL 2007, this form of hyperlink text is not recognized (i.e. it is
shown and functions as text only). OL 2007 "Help" says that this hyperlink
form should be recognized by Outlook as a hyperlink -- see <Help | (type)
Hyperlink | (select) "Use hyperlinks in Outlook items">. It also works in OL
2003 and it even works in OneNote 2007.
My current work-around: in order to activate the text as a hyperlink, I
have to right click, select "hyperlink" and edit the entry (including
inserting %20 in place of blank spaces).
How can I configure OL 2007 to recognize and activate the hyperlink
automatically?
Thanks
