OL2007 question re hyperlinks (very difficult)

I have an extremely difficult and advanced OL2007 question:

Does any MVP or other OL expert know if OL2007 supports text-form hyperlinks
to OL items in the form:

<outlook:Folder Name/~Subject Name>

In OL2003, this works. For example, any Outlook Task can be linked to any
other Outlook item by inserting the folloiwng text in the note field:

<outlook:Tasks/~Subject Name>

This works in OL 2003, but can it be done in OL2007? If so, how? What are
the rules or (even better) are there instructions online? I have figured out
a workaround: I can type the text, the highlight it, then right-click
hyperlinks, then add the link at the bottom of the window -- but this is way
more difficult than in OL2004. I wonder if there's a registry entry that
will activate OL2007 to recognize the hyperlink form <outlook:Tasks/~item
name>.

NOTE: I am _not_ referring to <Tools->options->contact options->show
contact linking on all forms>.

Thanks.

AFAIK that is not supported. The way I use it is that I type a word, select
it, press CTRL+K and type/paste the link. Which is more or less what you do
but then with the keyboard shortcut instead of using a mouse ;-)
