OLAP Connect error

We have a small installation of Project Server, with SQL2k on one box, and
Project / DSO on the other.

I am getting the following error when trying to build my OLAP cube (which we
will use):

I am an admin on the Project Server, as well as a member of the OLAP Admin
group (just making sure).

a) How (what) do I check for to ensure the proper versions/SP on SQL and DSO
(definitely running SP 3a on SQL2K)?

b) Assuming I have configured COM properly (via PSCOMPlus), how do I verify
this as well?

Make sure the domain account you're using for COM+ access to the OLAP server
is in the OLAP Administrators group on the Analysis Server machine - this is
the account used in the setup or entered in the pscomplus.exe. application.

Your own account doesn't enter into it until later when you're trying to
access the results of the cube building process using the pivotchart/table
and then you only have to be in a group or explicitly entered as a member
with access to the created cubes in the ROLE you create for the cube in
Analysis Server (see ProjectServer post-installation documentation).
