OLAP CUBE: Access only specific projects

Hello,

were running two different programs on our project server 2007. I use the
permissions, that users only see the projects they should. But that does not
work with the OLAP Cube. Having access to a view means to see all the
projects. Can I restrict that, so users can only see the projects they are
actually allowed to see?

Access to the OLAP cube assumes that the user has access to all data.

so the only thing I can try is prepare views that filter the different
programs?

Yes, and make sure that display field list is unchecked. Understand that the
user can make the field list appear unless you hide the toolbar as well. The
toolbar is rather useful unless your viewers aren't savvy with the views.
Also, create your views and restrict access to them based on the categories
in the security model.

With that said, if the user wants to get at the information, they can.
