OLAP cube building and Resource availability - two seperate tables ?

Hi,

I understand that OLAP cube building and Resource availability data come
from 2 separate tables in the Db schema. Does this mean that the resource
availability information seen in the resource centre could be different to
that seen in a Portfolio Analyzer view ?

Hi Ian,

Yes.

The SQL MSP_VIEW_ tables used by PWA are updated on the fly as
changes are entered into PWA or projects are saved and published.

The Portfolio Analyzer cube is updated on a periodic schedule or
manually by the project server administrator.

As a result it is easily possible for the two data sets to be out of
sync.
