I get the following message when I try to update the OLAP cube.

The cube scheduled to be built on 10/26/2005 at 10:55 AM failed.

Since the OLAP cube mainly deals with resource assignmnets to tasks and the
fact you are getting a "key" error, my feeling is that someone copied and
pasted an entire line within the project schedule.

Things to check....
1) If you modified the cube and have an error, then you can get this
1a) Go inside each cube and process it by hand. See if you get an
error.
2) Cube gets corrupted:
Backup cube, all local program files(some cube data can be in the
programs directory), sql server,etc...
Delete the entire cube, restart analysis services and then rebuild
the cube.
3) Is analyis sever up to the latest service pack?
4) I have had severe cases where I have to completely uninstall
analysis services, remove all data and then reinstall and rebuild.
