Hello everybody!
I experienced recently, a lot of issues regarding the Project Server
2003 Portfolio Analyzer.
I have this setup:
one machine with Project Sever 2003 SP2, SQL Server 2000 Sp4, Analysis
Services Sp3.
For this machine, I have a Domain name, let's say "AAA".
I connect to the Project Server, based on Windows Authentification.
My windows account is BBB\username, where BBB is our AD domain name.
the username and password for both AAA and BBB is the same. I have the
both accounts in the Olap Administrators Group on the Project Server,
both the accounts have rights on the Analysis cube. don't have to
mentioned that I installed all the ActiveX and Web Components...
When I try to create a new Analyzer View from my computer, I receive
the following error: "Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project
Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube...."
When I login remote to the Project Server, using the AAA\username, I
don't receive this error.
In fact, I can access the virtual Cube "MSP_PORTFOLIO_ANALYZER" but the
dimensions are not enabled. I looked in Analysis Manager, and the
dimensions' member count=0.
Can anybody explains me, what to do for:
1. using my computer (not remote on the server) to add a new Analyzer
2. building the olap cubes and process the dimensions, using the
Project Server functionallities. (I processed the dimensions in the
Analysis Manager but those data still remaining unavailable, although
the member count of the dimensions changed).
