OLAP Cube not showing up, despite cube building successfully...

What's weird is nobody can view the cube, even though the status is building
successfully.. We even tried to PWA Administrator account and can't see the
Cube. I don't think anything has changed either, it just stopped appearing.

We get this error message:
Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube.

The cube may not exist, or you may not have permissions to access the cube.

Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt:

Getting the cube to build is 75% of the initial battle. There is still work
to be done. Have you, for instance, completed the following:

Configured your clients to use Analysis Services:
Set Internet Explorer Security Options
Upgrade to MSXML 6.0
Install the Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider

Grant Permission to OLAP users by adding them to the View OLAP Data Role

Above is a helpful article from MS. But I have seen the roles getting
dropped from OLAP cube on certain reboots. Please follow the steps to make
sure the required roles are added to the cube to access it.

a. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server, point to
Analysis Services, and then click Analysis Management.
b. In the left pane, locate your Analysis Services server, and then expand
the server.
c. Right-click the cube, and then click Manage Roles.

You can find the name of the cube on the Updates to Resource Tables and OLAP
Cube page in Microsoft Project Web Access.
d. Click New, and then type a name in the Role name box.

Change the Enforce on option from Client to Server.
e. On the Membership tab, click Add.
f. Click to select user accounts and groups, click Add, and then click OK.
g. On the Cubes tab, click to select Check All, and then click OK.
h. Click Close, and then on the Console menu, click Exit.

Hope this helps

Gagan
