OLAP Cube refresh resulted in Request Status:9104 error

I am using a 2-server configuration, one server running Project server 2002
and the other server running SharePoint Team Services and Analysis Services.
The OLAP cube refresh had been updating successfully for many months but
lately we discovered the cube refresh was not performed even though the
status on OLAP cube update said the cube was refresh successfully. (we knew
the new data was not picked up in the refresh). Further investigation found
one of the mdb file for the OLAP disappeared. So I deleted the cube and
rebuilt the Analysis Services on the second server. Starting fresh, the cube
was built successfully with correct data. However, when I tried to refresh
the cube, I ended up with Request Status:9104 error message and nothing
happened afterwards.

I deleted the cube, restarted both servers, recreated the cube and the cube
refresh is now working.
