olap cube set up

Can anyone point me to a complete list of the set up process for building the
olap cube on a single server deployment? I haven't found Microsofts install
guide very helpul.

In particular, I'm wondering how to create the cube in Analysis Services and
then the specific instructions for migrating it over to SQL. Is the cube
created in web access and moved over to SQL server simply for security
reasons?

I have Analysis Services and COM+ set up.

Scott:

The installation guide really nails it. You don't migrate the cube, by the
way, you do, however, migrate the repository from an mdf file to SQL. The
way you're asking your question suggests that you might benefit from giving
the installation guide a second chance.

I feel like I already gave it a 4th chance The particular challenge here
is that I'm working off an install that had already been without setting up
this part and I won't have the install cd to redo it until late in the week.
I'll give it a 5th chance but I disagree with the merits of the doc
especially the post install steps (ch.8) which is exactly what I need.
