OLAP Cube won't rebuild

Our OLAP cube is not rebuilding. The admin page shows that the cube rebuild
was initiated but it never changes to completed.

This has worked fine for quite some time and it just stopped working.

Our DBA can manually rebuild the dimensions and cubes w/o any errors but we
don't see any change in our analyzer views.

What should we look at?

Hi wacNTN,

We experienced the same issue a couple of weeks ago. I deleted the Cube and
Connection from Analysis Server and then rebuild the cube from Project
Server. This solved the problem.

One other item to note is that if you rename the cube you will have to
rebuild the Analyzer views also

You dont need to rename the cube, just delete the connection in Analysis
Server and rebuild the cube Process in PWA with the same name. This will
recreate the cube with the original connection name.
